I wonder if all the people complaining about the TikTok app ban have forgotten that it's literally a piece of malware that, before getting caught out by an iOS update, was exfiltrating the contents of your clipboard every 30 seconds.

It seems like HATEOS would be a more attractive design style than previously, with AI clients on the rise. LLM based agents are already good at interacting with websites via scraping so you might expect they'd play well with APIs that facilitate self-discovery in the same way.
