Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 14/04/2026Breaking hits different when you’re 40. First sesh after taking 4 months off. 9570
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 18/03/2026I made it so you can easily customize graffiti-ui.com with just a few lines of css overrides that you can copy and paste. 3290
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 02/02/2026I added popver based tooltips and no-JS tabs to graffiti-ui.com 4180

Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 30/12/2025Today's addition to graffiti is a dropzone element. Some people would install a whole ass component for this. 3370
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 28/12/2025Adding more common patterns and improving form styling. graffiti-ui.com 2250
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 25/12/2025Reworked the docs a ton. Not done totally yet, but better than before. Now better organized and a changelog page. drop-in-graffiti.netlify.app I need a domain for this, but there aren't any good "graffiti" domains avail. 1263
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 19/12/2025My favorite part of having a project like drop-in-graffiti.netlify.app is that when I add something new, every project I have that uses it gets the new stuff. Nothing crazy today, but added a .fill class modifier to layout-sidebar and a .vertical modifier to .split as well as a basic app shell demo 080
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 18/12/2025Protip. Make a playlist of music for around the house. We put our Ultimate Dinner playlist on every night while during dinner and are constantly adding to it. Our kids get exposure to all kinds of music and really enjoy having it on and dancing in the kitchen after eating 2130
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 18/12/2025Today's Graffiti release includes .avatar. Just adding things as I need them. 180
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 17/12/2025I'll never get bringing a JS component into something when a single class and some basic html will do. 2160
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 17/12/2025Continuing to add more real utilities and components to drop-in-graffiti.netlify.app These are just css/html . No web components, no props, no config, just good base css and minimal classes. 6375
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 11/12/2025Just did a my first real session with v_framer and it crushed. 6 media sources. 4 app windows, one cam, one audio all individually recorded and available instantly as .mkv or .wav. Going to drop in to Recut then move to Davinci to finish. 0121
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 06/12/2025More updates. Adding settings, countdown, keyboard shortcuts, menu options. (UI for settings css not done) 1130
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 04/12/2025Each video source can be fullscreened too with a 9:16 square for planning vertical video or just do a hair check. 160
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 04/12/2025I'm working on an app to record a bunch of audio, video and screen sources at once and outputs each recording as an individual file to take to your video editing app of choice. I wanted something that was as easy to record with as screenflow, with no garbage built in editors or proprietary formats. 8926
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 27/11/2025I saw this UI being shared on Twitter and made a CSS only version. codepen.io/stolinski/pe... 1382

Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 22/10/2025The more color systems I write, the more I realize that opacity variants are way more useful than lightness variants. From a CSS library I wrote for myself: drop-in-graffiti.netlify.app 8552
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 30/08/2025How fast can you CSS this button? This Button Broke Our Brains (CSS Challenge) youtu.be/xtRx-aNrNe8 0190
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 30/08/2025Not being able to do “power moves” what people see as the more gymnastic part of breaking, really frees you up to feel it all differently. 1180
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 22/08/2025Absolutely everything is realtime and fast as hell, accomplished via Zero Sync using my own Zero Svelte package and the @drizzle.team -> Zero schema package. 150
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 22/08/2025Auth was done via Better Auth using Github. I'm using AI to generate a 4 pane avatar with 4 expressions that I can change the image positioning on to express sadness when you are losing the battle. This way I only need one image gen per user but still get a lot out of it. 130
Scott Tolinski @tolin.ski · 22/08/2025Here is my @sentry.io Hackweek submission. I made a real world UI coding battle game for the team over at Syntax from scratch in 3.5 days. 2172
