iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I'm trying to find stuff that inspires me again; I feel too jaded and it doesn't serve me well.

I got very disillusioned as an artist in 2025. Not because of AI, but because of the way the people's creativity is pulverized through a meat grinder of algorithms to dish out as a product to a stressed out consumer. It's affected the beauty I can see in the world, and my own art greatly.

I spot, I spot, a creature like a yellow drop . !

a monkey-like creature with a thorny, leafy, tail on a branch. The branch has the face of a bat morphing out of it.

i’ve been drawing illustrations fueled by frustration lately, but it doesn’t provide catharsis. I just feel sad.

Lately there's this feeling I keep Coming Back to, so I go to the place where it makes sense. "Oh, here again?", the creatures say, and I respond, "Yes, if I may."

yeah in NZ we continue to push forward environmental protections and plastic reduction to reduce the negative impacts of capitalism, but our current government is actively trying to dismantle that for profit 0-0

yeah, i get this brain fuzz cus i know that things are happening and people are trying to fix things but i can’t remember where or when or how much 0-0

i don’t mind, go at your own pace!

i feel ike i need a monthly support group to talk about climate change and plastics in my country.. i can stay informed on my own but i need community to make my heart strong.

yep pretty much with the local thing. I think there’s like 3 riso printers in nz (almost not joking), but i may be able to access one. Not sure if anyone here does washi tape. But i can get stickers, prints, bookmarks, etc like another comment said!

Treasures of life around me; tasty, pretty, bright, and new. Many Wants rise up inside, to sample just a few . . . 💎🌸⭐🐉⭐ 🌸💎

i seeee, cricut might be my only option in nz, i will accept the crying hahaha

thanks for brainstorming with me btw, i appreciate it

hmm i could do foiling myself, i think i did it in highschool. But it would be a pain, so maybe i should let it go haaaaa

:O can you use cricut for non stickers? I dont fully know what a cricut does

100

yeah that is what i am thinking too; i need to find manus who can do custom shapes, and things like raised foil n stuff, but also has low MOQs now haaaa

210

hmm yeah i did, but that doesn’t improve the working conditions of the place i would have ordered from, so it’s still a bit iffy for me.
