Just got my set of the Character Dynamics expansions from @storyenginedeck.bsky.social I definitely think I'll get a lot of use out of these, as it'll help my character interactions feel less "flat" as well as give individual characters more depth with the "Character Question" cards

The fronts of the Character Dynamics Story Expansion Set: Inner Truths & Outer Trials, Best Friends & Bitter Rivals, Written in Love & Longing

A look at the Inner Truths & Outer Trials - Character Questions expansion. The box is at the top, with two cards below it. One card shows the back with the "mind maze" image that it shares with the box. The other card shows the front with four prompts (from 6 o'clock clockwise): What is the greatest gift they have given or received?, who have they disappointed the most?, what are the an expert on?, what is the obligation?

A look at the Best friends & Bitter rivals - Relationships expansion. The box is at the top, with four below it. two cards show their backs showing their "relationship CONFLICT" and "relationship ENGINE" card types. The other cards show their front. The red Conflict card has 2 prompts and shows "and now one of them is making an offer with strings attached" prominently. The purple Engine card has four prompts and shows "has never physically met" prominently

A look at the Written in Love & Longing - Romance expansion. The box is at the top, with six below it. three cards show their backs showing their "Agent", "Aspect" and "Anchor" card types. The other cards show their front. The Yellow Agent card has 4 prompts and shows "An Ex" prominently. The green Aspect card has four prompts and shows "Infuriating" prominently. The blue Anchor card has 4 prompts and shows "A kiss" prominently

Okay a tiny thread because people are going to freak out: This exploit in particular takes advantage of a special command that renders images (via attribute escape). If you have an overlay that processes images (most don't) then yes, this is your problem. Overlay must explicitly create img DOM.

A picture of the exploit, using a command that explicitly includes an image file extension, but also would escape out of the src attribute of an image such than an onerror attribute can be added to the img tag. This onerror attribute can run explicit javascript immediately.

Default behavior for most chat widgets is if you have an image it will not attempt to modify image links into actual HTML image tags. Your overlay/overlay service must explicitly be doing this for you.

A screenshot from Tow Point Museum. It prominently features two sculpture exhibits: a green-bronze one of a guy on a toilet called "The Stinker" as a parody of "The Thinker"; and a dead tree with melting pizzas draped over it as a reference to the Salvador Dalí painting "The Persistence of Memory"
