fun little ocd trick I've picked up: whenever I'm obsessing over something, instead of engaging in a compulsion I go "I don't negotiate with terrorists" and try to ride it out. and usually it gets REALLY bad and I cry a little bit but then I feel better and free as hell after not. compulsing?
