My internship certificate was cleared and I'm now officially a public school teacher. The certificate lasts for about 2 years which gives me time to finish my degree and take the exams. Work starts tomorrow.

It turns out that my paperwork and background check from the DOE hasn't been cleared yet. So I won't be able to work for the next few days until it does. They hope it'll be done by Monday, but they're certain it'll get done. At least the classroom is all set and ready to be used.

Tomorrow, I will start my new orientation as a teacher at a school and the first day of class is on the 10th. Despite me having a bachelor's degree in education and in the middle of studying for a master's degree, I am scared and nervous. I shouldn't be, but I am.

Les pregunté a mis amigos si ellos pensaron que yo era furro cuando me conocieron la primera vez. Me dijeron que no, pero que en cambio parecía Taringuero. 😭🙊🥀

Anatomy of Robo-Roo [tags: #roboroo #kangaroo #robot #blueprint #anatomy #clipstudiopaint #digitalart ] Paper textures used: texturelabs.org/textures/pap... (blueprint background) texturelabs.org/textures/pap... (outline of Robo-Roo)

Title: Anatomy of ROBO-ROO

In the center is a sketchy marker drawing of Robo-Roo on a blue(print) background.

Sticky note at top left: These are Robo-Roo's secrets - at least the ones I've come across so far! Seems this workhorse (pardon my language) has lots of life in her...
--Lexi Conagan

Annotations, clockwise from top:

EARS
Or, more accurately, "ear-tennae". Can receive analog signals!

EYES
Double as flashlights for seeing in the dark!

NOSE
Big, blue, and bulbous. You can even say it glows!

MOTOR
Fueled by food, which is converted into electricity. (This motor is shaped like a heart, and has three wires protruding from it.)

POUCH
Handy for storing things if you've forgotten to pack your suitcase.

LEGS
Strong enough to knock someone into next week, yet light enough for stealthy bouncing.

TAIL
Lightweight for Robo-Roo, but weighs a tonne for everyone else!

BOXING GLOVES
These mittens are strong enough to split watermelons!

MOUTH
Note to self: count how many pies this can hold at once.
