My friend refused to watch any modern horror movies mainly cause it doesn’t have the same atmosphere with the tone and lighting and that they only want to use the “past” for nostalgia pandering without understanding what makes it scary. 100

Besides, the 2000s was a trend for movies to commentate on the real world after 9/11 and Hollywood moved passed that. 200
