Day 546 of my time on Blue Sky complete. Aside from a few bumps, and a lack of #AEW to watch tonight, today was pretty relaxing. Tomorrow will be busier, especially if something I WANT to happen occurs, but I'll take it in stride and see what happens. ...wish me luck?

I still recall All In 2018, when, after the show, he told the crowd (which I was in), "No man, no entity, no company owns pro wrestling...WE OWN PRO WRESTLING!!!" It was inspirational, and now I look back at it and go, "Did he really mean that?" Signs point to..."No."

Taxis I've taken when I'm doing my Chicago Comic Cons because I do NOT like driving in Chicago. lol. But it's literally their paying day job to be taxi drivers, so I can trust them, even if they're a bit weird at times. lol. I do not trust any remote vehicle to get me where I need to go

Some ups and downs, but doing my best to make it through and find little things to keep me happy. Having a rough year and trying to get through in one piece.

My parents were just talking about that last night when one of those commercials came up. I've never done an Uber, Lyft, or anything like that and I definitely won't be doing a self-driving car.

They crushed it, and I think #AEW will make this an annual thing.

On the WrestlePurists post that showed the video on Twitter, the first few comments were all about "But WWE has better attendance and viewer numbers!!!!" ...like true, indoctrinated Fed fans would. Is it Saturday yet? #AEW

Oh, and I forgot to mention...I totally have that song memorized and even try to mimic Scar's motions throughout it as I sing it. lol

Gotta Be... "Be Prepared" from the Lion King. Yes, Scar was the villain, but song was SO GOOD!!! Sometimes...it's good to be bad.

#AEW is WHERE THE BEST WRESTLE! ...and last night, they just so happened to wrestle in France.

Not to mention, Kofi and Creed WERE JOBBERS during their last stretch with The Fed! In his last 50 matches, Kofi was apparently 1-49! #AEW is treating New Level like royalty.

One of the volunteer jobs that I have (which I hope will lead to being paid soon...) has a guy who is so "AI IS AMAZING!!!!" that I want to punch him every time he brings it up, and my immediate manager wants to beat him up, too. lol. He's slowly learning that his AI thoughts are not welcome here.

During the pandemic, my friends encouraged me to reach out to Thunder Rosa to try and make a comic about her life, in my attempt to get hired by #AEW, as she just appeared on the show. She replied 5 minutes after I emailed her and went "Yeah, let's do it!" The comic remains a favorite of mine.

Day 545 of my time on Blue Sky complete. Today was another unique one, but not necessarily in a bad way. I had a really good morning, a mixed afternoon, and a relaxing night. Family, good food, Fire Emblem, new TV seasons and #AEW helped make this day memorable. Tomorrow will be...odd, I bet.

Todd Black - Writer and Fro Hermit @toddblack.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

#AEW KNOWS that their Grand Slam line means something, and so they WANT to do the biggest matches possible whenever they do them. Andrade vs. Oku? Yeah, that fits the bill. And NOW...we...play.

I'm expecting a rough Wednesday, too. We'll get through, though. One step at a time. And if anything? #AEW has that YouTube playlist of full matches you can enjoy!

Was with family tonight, so I had to watch #AEWDynamite a bit later than usual. That being said... #AEWGrandSlamFrance was definitely a hit. The crowd was loud, the wrestling was great, and the BRUV proved why he's one of the best world champs #AEW has ever had.

Caprice and I call *excellent* wrestling every week that is accessible and builds to bigger matches. Said wrestling took super talented wrestlers and elevated them. It gives full-time wrestling jobs to more than the original did for, in many cases, more money. It's fun and good. ROH forever ❤️

Seeing how much work he's done in September and early October just makes me fume that PWI only put him at No.19. He was Top 10 all day long and arguably should've been No.1.
