Spent the day touring around Santiago de Compostela in Spain. Beautiful area and perfect temperatures today! Soaking it all in on a quick business trip. Last week had a very quick trip in Alicante, Spain- beautiful as well! Off to Poland next week.

Had it done in 2005 in San Diego-little irritated eyes for first evening but then amazing vision. No glasses or contacts needed until 2018 when I start needing them at age 45 for reading. I was very pleased with the results. Good luck!

Local 50th anniversary of the 4th of July parade in our neighborhood. Always good to see the neighbors gather, kids enjoying the festivities, and a community come together. Happy 4th of July to all!

Our contribution was a dog hydration station at our mailbox with a stainless steel bowl and large cocktail glass sized iced cubes for the water. It backed up a few times!

One of the highlights of the Dogwood Festival for me was meeting a young woman and her mother at the Park Drive entrance. She was spending her weekend raising money for PAWS Atlanta as part of her Bat Mitzvah. It’s incredibly encouraging to see youth choosing to give back so meaningfully.

They call Atlanta police officer who is onsite. She just wandered off like nothing happened and started shopping. ATL police he’d her car license and damage and description and went to look for her. I go to leave and see the SUV she hit lights turn on and go tell the driver. Very appreciative of 411

Bird baths already frozen over at 9 pm! Took some heated water out to break the ice and let the critters get a couple hours more of water. Meanwhile, Callie is keeping the heating pad company and Stormy is enjoying a roaring fire! Back on birdbath duty in the AM to break up the ice!

Arrived home after our drive home from visiting Shawn’s family in Arkansas to Callie (19 1/2 years young) with a swollen right cheek. Likely tooth infection. (Pic is from tonight) so swelling is down. Thanks to our new friends at VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group) for taking care of our precious baby!
