BUT, I advocate for Chronic Pain pts to have the right to try (& for doctors/providers to actually write scripts w/o fear of punishment from govt or insurance). Chronic pain pts s/b allowed to try all avail Rx pain meds/other Rx meds/substances/drugs/therapies/implants/etc that may relieve pain.—TMS

FYI: I have never said or posted that all/any opioids/narcotics will work for all patients or in all patients’ individual circumstances every single time. That’s too far: a great dream, but it’s not reality, unfortunately. I’m an unfortunate prime example: no opioids I’ve tried have helped me, yet…

I don’t want to speak w/a therapist to help me get through my chronic pain. I want a fucking medical dr to find & prescribe the correct therapy (medicinal, surgical, etc.) to relieve my excruciating to debilitating disabling chronic pain. No fucking psychotherapy is going to fix damaged nerves, etc.

I’m so tired. Exhausted. Not “sleepy.” Fed up. Ready. Waiting. Nothing good lasts when you’re chronically ill & live every second in chronic pain: excruciating to debilitating & disabling chronic pain. Chronic, as in, never ending, never leaving, never done. Only death can bring meaningful relief.
