When I lived in Colorado Springs, I lived in this apartment with high ceilings and the smallest bit of smoke would set off the smoke alarm. So I had to climb my 5’7” ass up a step stool and disarm it every time. The smoke detectors in my friggin house with lower ceilings don’t even go off that quick

I just started writing and have to remind myself to just write it and edit later. Even though I am alone when writing, I always have that paranoia that someone is looking over my shoulder and judging what I am writing. I figure the creative flow comes as you write. Kinda like lifting weights.
