Ha... common kana can spell fun words too. Seeing similar-looking kana (for "shi" and "n" and "tsu" confused me, and I guess ルーレット has "tsu" because Japanese doesn't have vowel-less "hard t" plosives.

I must be slowest student trying to learn kana. Yandex image translate gives "Hank likes jazz" for this screenshot (Detroit: Become Human). It broke my brain seeing both ハ and は together, but it makes sense - "Hank" is foreign and は is the topic marker.

Ah! Years ago at a book shop I bought this and started reading. Something happened and I forgot I still have it... this should be fun! 💙 Lately I enjoyed watching "Detective Conan". Many years ago I enjoyed reading children's mysteries "The Boxcar Children" or "Encyclopedia Brown".

Actually, several good games! I'm learning, but when playing for fun I'm not patient. When playing shogi or xiangqi or chess, I am far more patient, but I play mahjong for fun and for science.
