Made a silly mini sketchbook for work time. Here’s today’s page.

A page from a sketchbook. It shows; a drawing of a waving Hachiware and a buff flexing Usagi from Chiikawa, a red angry female head that ends at the neck and is covered in hair, a heavily stylized chimera/manticore, a sketch of a mutated human with many limbs and appendages, a creeps face and 3 random head sketches.

I think I’ll do some exploration of what my new character’s everyday life during his ~500 years of solitude in the forest.

Greyscale illustration of an old, topless elf man cooking in his shield at a campfire, sitting on a log. The text next to his head reads: “Adlar has been using his trusty shield as a cooking pot ever since he went into solutide in the great forest, centuries ago. Exploration of a personal dungeons and dragons character.

Quick illustration of my new DnD character. The previous one finally died after being revived twice. Gonna try going with a more stylized, lineart heavy art style like this from now on. It’s quicker and feels more satisfying for me.

Did the artist figure anti-AI trend thingy (probably way too late). No timelapse for this one cause it would be a mess.

Digital painting showing an action figure in packaging. The action figure is of a depressed looking white man in his late 20s with the following accessories: a dog, a laptop, an ipad and a book. Illustration done in Procreate and Affinity Designer.

Quick (2,5 hours, I’m slow af) Totoro background painting study + brush testing. I’ve been feeling tense when trying to draw people recently and this helped chill out a bit. I also like how it turned out.

Digital painting study of a background painting from the Studio Ghibli anime movie My Neighbor Totoro.

Shows a landscape with some trees, a few edge-lit clouds in front of a starry night sky and a house with some light leaking from the door and windows.

Art made in Procreate.

Some stylized portrait studies(??) I really need to figure out a more stylized/simplified style because I want to do some animated stuff (and quicker works)

Also, longer timelapse because BlueSky allows it now!! 🎉🎉 At first, I wanted to do a more dynamic pose but then went with one inspired by classical statues.

Back from the dead with LadyDevimon! I’ll start practicing female anatomy because I realised I drew 1 female character in the past ~6 years. This turned into a 20 hour painting, but I’ll try to pump out quicker sketches from now on.

Digital painting of LadyDevimon, Poyomon and Botamon from the Japanese anime and monster collecting videogame franchise Digimon. Created in Procreate, inspired by classical statues.

Finally finished the human version of Guk, the “goblin” gunslinger. 🔫 Planned to be a quick illustration, turned into a 20 hour piece 😬 #dnd #dndart #illustration #procreate

Digital illustration of Guk Zuggag my Dungeons and Dragons (DnD) OC who
turned from a goblin into a human, thanks to the reincarnate spell. He is a native-american inspired wild west gunslinger.

Some of these I first met through adaptations, but still, these were probably the four most fundamentally formative comics for me. #comicsdna

Another DnD character. Javi Talandro, half-orc way of mercy monk, friend of the earlier phantom rogue I drew. Gave him a coat inspired by traditional Hungarian coats called “szűr” cause it looks cool. #ttrpg #dnd #dndart #illustration #procreate #oc

Illustration of a half-orc Dungeons and Dragons character, wearing 18th century-esque clothing and a coat similar to a traditional Hungarian “szűr”. He is smiling and nonchalantly holding his cane.

Portrait of Old Piscator Wanted to try something new (again). A lil study+stylization+brush testing combo. Should really pin down a style or two and work in those to make my output more consistent. #procreate #lovecraft #painting #portrait

Saturated but dark digital portrait painting of an old fisherman with suspiciously yellow-greenish skin and fishy eyes. Titled “Portrait of Old Piscator”.

Falko Taggert, dhampir phantom rogue, my newest character. He has a Moon-Touched Sword and the campaign takes place in Eberron, hence the glowing blade and the several moons. Used the RizzCraft brushes from TGTS to give it a riso print look. #ttrpg #dnd #dndart #illustration #procreate
