Lately, drawing has been pushed back my daily priority list. I’ve been busy socially (good) and drained from work (bad) that I haven’t been able to draw much. Also— how do people can draw so consistently? Whenever I don’t draw for a while, my style seems to change a bit… Is it just me? 😆🤔

I wish I could go to the 7/5 starwish event too. 🥹🌠 It must be so cool to see everyone’s hard work in its fully printed form. In general, I hope I can visit Japan one day… I always wanted to visit when I was younger, but I didn’t get the opportunity to go yet.

I’m also learning (again) that I should loosen up my line art more. Looking at the piece I just posted— the line art is a little messy zoomed in, but it’s fine from a distance! I’m going to experiment with thicker brushes and see how that feels.

I hope I can draw again soon. I still quietly look at art, especially art of 🍙🌶️… 🅰️ℹ️ has been impacting my job/area of expertise and it’s just been demoralizing. I wish it never got created. It’s also so harmful to the earth and it’s even impacted where I live.

On a lighter & funnier note, when I first found out 🍙’s (english) name was “Larry” I was aghast because that nickname/shortened name has a specific, not quite positive image around it. I know why the localization team chose it, but 🍙 really did not give off that vibe to me.

I’m trying not to let work trickle into my personal life/after work, but it’s been so tough lately. I never take naps, and I mostly slept this whole day. (Goodbye my Saturday…) My own body is telling me I’m physically drained… 😭😔
