People don’t talk nearly as much about Titanic, Aliens, or Terminator (or Top Gun or Mission Impossible, to expand the sample size!) as much as they do Star Wars, either!
It’s like a certain subsection of odd shut-ins don’t understand the concept of making a great, successful movie for its own sake
