It was a wild experience. At first I didn’t know the shrike was still nearby watching me till he squawked. I spotted the blob (vole) from the living room window and went to see what it was. This was his meal 😉

They are pretty amazing at cleaning quickly without scratches. Almost polishes blades. I’ve done large old German steel butcher blades that were blackened, a clever and my felco pruners all the time. Won’t help pitting of course but perfect otherwise.
