The Best of Me
alwayswithyou320

Summary:

"There's not a chance that I'll see you again, is there?" Jeongguk asks.

"I mean, there is always a chance," Taehyung says with an amused smile.
"But I'm not giving you my phone number, and don't go looking for me anywhere, baby."

Jeongguk flops into the mattress.
"Call me baby again."

His stomach flutters when Taehyung laughs. For the rest of his life, he is ruined.
"Be safe, Jeongguk-ssi."

A Shy Hello, Blushing Cheeks by quietmidnights • 42’132 words | explicit 🔞 • strangers to lovers • JK works in a plant shop and Tae works in a bakery • so SOFT, so FLUFFY, the epitome of COMFORT ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 archiveofourown.org/works/38298475

A Shy Hello, Blushing Cheeks
quietmidnights

Summary:

Jungkook is content with his quiet life, spending every morning caring for the plants in the shop where he works. But on one rainy day, a boy walks in, soaking wet and shivering.
Jungkook's mornings start to change just the slightest bit when they're no longer spent alone, and he finds something (or someone) that is even more beautiful to watch grow.

Or: Jungkook meets shy, nervous Taehyung - slightly broken but with bits of light still shining through the cracks. Over the course of several rainy and sunny days spent together inside the plant shop, Jungkook learns more and more about Taehyung's past as he slowly opens up. Jungkook starts to fall for him, and once Taehyung sees that sweet, gentle, patient Jungkook could never hurt him, he falls just as easily, finally feeling safe again.

Summary:

Jeon Jeongguk has lived nearly a millennium as one of the most powerful vampires to walk the earth. He's been through wars, death, unimaginable brutality. The pain of losing one of his dearest friends turns his world into one where he begins to forget the simple, sweet pleasures of life. The beauty it still holds despite the heartache he's been forced to live with.

Kim Taehyung is a recently turned vampire, sired by a vicious ex-boyfriend hellbent on revenge. Confusion and physical agony send him screaming into the night where he is found by the vampire whose land he was left to die on.

What happens when the new fledgling enters the life of the hardened vampire who had no interest in believing he could be happy, loved, able to find the joy he'd once had so many years ago? What happens when the two are forced to face an impending civil war between vampire kind?

Will they fall to the evils that attempt to end their world altogether? Or will they discover that an eternal love, indeed, conquers all?

Summary:

The ferry Jeongguk is supposed to take to the island where his grandparents live malfunctions, and he finds himself waiting in a hundred-meter-long line leading to the dock, rain clouds looming over his head. He wears a leather jacket and drives a motorcycle. The guy next to him wears a suit and drives a Maserati.

Good for him.

cards on the table (we re both showing hearts)
afuzzyowl

Summary:
I want him, Taehyung almost confesses. Jimin makes his life hard like that because he's sort of soft, gives off this vibe of being welcoming, or accepting, or something. Even if his back muscles are disconcertingly defined.
"Say. What do you think of Jungkook? Just, like. In general."
Jimin sighs exaggeratedly. "He's a brat." Taehyung nods. "Our brat, though. Even though he 'forgets' to call me hyung sometimes.
Hmph."
"He's so-adorable, Jiminie,"
Taehyung mourns, and it takes everything in him not to turn this into a half-hour sob fest about the dreadful consequences of such adorableness, complete with poster presentation and one of those extendable pointer thingies.
On their journey to becoming the number one boy band in the world, Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook fall in love.
Based on true BTS events.
