Looks like the hour to Elgin isn't terrible. Hope there are good jobs close to the station. 95 min just to get to Union Station doesn't seem very realistic for a daily commute when you add the additional time to get to a job site from the station. 4 hr fault commute is not humane, even by train.

And then what do they do about work- retire? People need to live where the jobs are. Homes need to be built where the jobs are... or at least try and grow jobs where the homes are. But people abandoned those places because there are comparatively no jobs. You can move to Rockford IL, but then what?

Boston is the other clear punchers chance team. They have the system and three very high talent players and Tatum, PG and MRob who are coming off of major injuries or often hurt or old that you need all three clicking to be a true contender in the playoffs and not just regular season.

Seems about right. Owners are probably more concerned about their personal checkbooks than they are about maintaining competitive balance. If you had a stronger commissioner than the priority of maintaining the rules would more likely be upheld.

Appendicitis and drug suspension were not on my bingo card, but Embiid and PG missing time for strange reasons was on brand for the Sixers. But everything since down 3-1 to the Celtics has arguably been a simulation. No other reasonable explanation for the change in reality conditions.

On one hand agree some of their most balanced lineups will involve DWade But I do think these metrics undervalue JB by counting him as only a marginal positive player compared to NBA average. It's reductive to where it overlooks his actual talent and abilities.

Prior to FA, was trying to identify a similar profile player on the cheap, but it's not a common skill set. A lot of the Jock Landale archetype really struggle on the boards.

Yeah, He is my target if they can afford him. Need a guy who can shoot and rebound. Better rim protection would be nice, but shooting and rebounding are the priority.
