Your Card of the Day: Saul "The Amazing" Rogovin was clairvoyant. He drew upon the illuminating powers of the cosmos to reveal the world of tomorrow. Of course, this extrasensory ability helped Saul win the 1951 AL ERA title since he knew which pitch the batter was expecting. 😄

Your Cards of the Day: The White Sox swept the Astros in the Wildcard Series. The first Chisox to play for Houston was Billy Goodman in 1962. The first Colt .45s player to don the Pale Hose was Dean Stone in 1962. The '62 Goodman card is my fake. @sabrbbcards.bsky.social

Your Cards of the Day: ln 1952, Topps' artist made some interesting choices when he transformed Lou Kretlow from a Brown to a White Sox. The two-tone cap and golden background turned this piece of cardboard into an avant-garde masterpiece. The Browns card is a 1974-75 TCMA.

Your Cards of the Day; There are only two players named Heffner (unrelated) in MLB history. In 1968, Don was an an Angels' coach, and Bob pitched for the Halos. There is no evidence that Hugh Hefner ever made it to Anaheim-with a bevy of beauties-to see the other "Hefs"
