100% true as a higher-ed employee. I worked at a very good science/engineering university with a high sticker price ... but good American students rarely paid close to the sticker price. Rich international students who wanted an American education paid full freight.

As a girls travel basketball coach, it's not that simple. I've dealt with this situation directly and some very anti-Trump people I know who aren't crazy sports parents at all are ... aligned with MAGA on this. There's a reason they push it so hard.
