I’m starting to understand why my books sell better on Amazon than Kobo or Barnes and Noble. Their search engines suck. I had to hunt down my first in series ebook. The search engine came up with ALL of my other books but not the book I put in the search 🤦‍♀️ #authorlife

If you, as an indie author, come on social media to bash how other authors write (on subjects that are not problematic just opinion on writing style), that’s not a good look. It’s okay to have opinions as a reader, but as an author, you’re saying “Their books are trash! Read mine!” #authors

I shared my thoughts on the TikTok ban in my newsletter. While most of my readers who replied agreed with my sentiments regarding freedom of speech, others felt the need to “educate” me with Wikipedia articles and armchair anti-communism. Propaganda from the internet is not a source. 1/3
