I think Sheamus in AEW would be great. He knows how to put on a banger of a match, it was literally his gimmick for a while. I think reuniting with Cesaro, as opponents or teammates, is probably what I would like to see most. I honestly believed he would retire in WWE but I want to see him in AEW.

I think they are going to retell a story from the comics. Doctor Doom, from the Fantastic Four universe, travelled to a different universe and swapped minds with that Iron Man, to turn this Tony Stark's Iron Legion into his new Doom Bots. This would be the reason he looks like Robert Downey Jr.

What would you like a new trilogy to be about? - Focus on the beginning, starting with Tython and the Force Wars, and ending with the Galactic Republic. - A start of a new era for the jedi, with Rey Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Din Grogu, Ezra Bridger, Jacen Syndulla, Cal Kestis, Gungi and Sabine Wren.

Everton were deducted eight points, for two charges, Leicester were deducted six points and Nottingham Forest were deducted four points. That's an average of 4.5 points deducted per charge. Manchester City have been found guilty of 114 charges. 4.5 x 114 is 513 points, that could now be deducted.

I was thinking about this, will Man City lose their owners because of this? Hard to imagine them staying, right? Would the #LFC consortium back out of their deal to takeover Man City instead? Did Todd Boehly sell up his ownership stake and step down as chairman of Chelsea to takeover Man City?

I think this is the most important part of what I want to see from Secret Wars. Doctor Doom was right, the Multiverse was ending and he saved what he could. Not only that, Doom has also created a society that works for everyone that survived. It is just a flawed society because Doom loses control.

Been thinking (way too much) about how #LFC are likely going to improve next: Replace Gomez: Guehi Colwill Quansah Replace Tsimikas: O'Reilly Hall Mitchell Sessegnon Replace Endo: Anderson Wharton Gray Replace Jones/Elliott: Cherki Foden Simons Kluivert Replace Chiesa: Semenyo Rayan Neto Kudus

Not that anyone asked but my take on Florian Wirtz is... he's doing okay. Which is disappointing because of how much we spent on him but you need to build the attack around someone and Alexander Isak feels like the obvious choice right now. It is going to take time for everything to work together.

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

LCB - Replacing Gomez LWB - Replacing Tsimikas CDM - Replacing Endo CAM - Replacing Elliott? RW - Replacing Chiesa Three, maybe four, of them probably need to be homegrown players though. In order to register all of our squad for the Champions League. #LFC had to just unregister Endo and Chiesa.

Who is going to be the new sporting director for #LFC? - Julian Ward - Pedro Marques - David Woodfine - Matt Newberry - Lee Dykes - Phil Giles

Right now: DM - Mac Allister/Endo/Nyoni CM - Szoboszlai/Gravenberch AM - Wirtz After January: DM - Wharton/Nyoni CM - Szoboszlai/Gravenberch AM - Wirtz/Mac Allister We need to find homegrown replacements for Endo and Chiesa. Bad squad planning to have to unregister those two for European games.

If I was Kevin Feige, I would be going to Jordan Peele and asking him if he wants to make a trilogy of Blade movies for Marvel. I would then look to hire John David Washington to be the next Blade. Mahershala Ali would have been great as Blade but JDW is 10 years younger and can carry a franchise.

001

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

It looks like the midfield is going to be the biggest problem for #LFC this season. There was a nice balance when we could play Mac Allister, Gravenberch and Szoboszlai as a midfield three but Wirtz is a guaranteed starter now, as our CAM. At least he knows how to go box-to-box and presses well.

010

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

I actually think the pivot needs: Quarter Back DM: Mac Allister Endo Nyoni Box-to-Box CM: Szoboszlai Gravenberch If Endo isn't good enough to start anymore and Nyoni needs more time before starting for a title challenging team, #LFC would need a guy like Adam Wharton to compete with Mac Allister.

220

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

I am not too worried about Alexis Mac Allister's press conference. It seems to me like he wants to stay at #LFC and earn a new contract based on his performances this season. The most likely people to have told him there isn't one available yet (Slot, Hughes, Edwards) are all gone now. Earn it.

190

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

Thank you for appointing Arne Slot as our manager and helping #LFC win the Premier League after losing Jurgen Klopp. The person who replaces you has a massive job on their hands now. We probably need a RB, LB, DM and RW, whilst most likely replacing Alisson and Van Dijk. Going to be really tough.

150

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

I do think there is a world where Alexis Mac Allister can become the CDM we have been crying out for. Let Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch play the CM role next to him. Have Wataru Endo and Trey Nyoni be the cover and competition for Macca. We bought Alexis because he can play 6, 8 and 10.

I am glad I am not the only one who sees The Swirl and Brian Cage/Jake Doyle as two of the greatest tag teams of their or any generation! Can not wait for those two teams to face off against each other, instead of having to waste their time with the barely known Young Bucks and MCMG. Dream match!

000

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

The Usos are absolutely a top tag team in WWE. Andrade El Idolo is right that Roman Reigns' family were given opportunities Mexican wrestlers and other top wrestlers would have probably done more with. If The Usos came to AEW, I think they could have great matches but they wouldn't be top guys.

120

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

My big issue with this #LFC team is, how do we defend? Frimpong, Bradley, Kerkez, Tsimikas, Gravenberch, Mac Allister and Szoboszlai want to defend and attack. The only players we have right now who naturally want to sit back are Araujo, Leoni, Van Dijk, Jacquet, Gomez, Endo and potentially Nyoni.

100

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

The pride of AEW is great. It works well as a never say die baby face and as a cocky, cheating heel. I think he works better alone though, maybe you could find him a top manager like Stokely Hathaway. Give him a TNT title run and then put him in Continental Classic, with one or two surprise wins.

Based on how well Victor Munoz has started this season, I am more comfortable with signing Yankuba Minteh. I wanted Ibrahim Mbaye and Rio Ngumoha to be covering for and competing against Bradley Barcola and Victor Munoz. I now think Minteh recovering is fine if Munoz can keep going at this level.

Liverpool's attack is good enough, four goals in two games is good. They are only going to get better the longer they play together and Barcola is coming. Liverpool's defence is not good enough, four goals in two games is bad. They will get better the longer they play together but we need a DM now.

What's stopping #LFC from now matching Aston Villa's €55m bid?

300

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

I am convinced Ibrahim Mbaye joins #LFC. No one else has been linked to Mbaye but PSG have still kept him and Bradley Barcola out of their squad. I think we are giving PSG basically £200m for two of their squad depth players. Mostly because their first team players are among the best in the world.

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

If #LFC are going to buy Barcola, Mbaye and Camara, then I hope Iraola gets us playing a 4-3-3: Alisson/Mamardashvili/Woodman Frimpong/Bradley Araujo/Leoni/Gomez Van Dijk/Jacquet Kerkez/Tsimikas Szoboszlai/Gravenberch Camara/Endo/Nyoni Wirtz/Mac Allister Mbaye/Munoz Isak/Ekitike Barcola/Ngumoha

Cody Gakpo is a quality player, who can cut in to shoot and is also good at getting on the end of crosses. It looks like #LFC are looking for wingers who have pace and the ability to dribble past players though. Barcola and Minteh seem most likely, Leao and Mbaye could be the alternatives though.

000

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

I would like to see Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley be legit singles title challengers. Lashley having a long reign with the Continental Championship, weekly open challenges and dominating opponents. Then grow into a Orange Cassidy run where even though he is banged up, he just keeps on going.

110

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

The #LFC defence needs to be better. If the zonal trap is a 4-4-2, before we break out into man-to-man marking, but we are playing wing backs like Kerkez and Frimpong, with no actual defensive midfielder, then we need to focus on making the midfield support the defence. We need serious discipline.

010

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

Who would you like to be the next Sporting Director for #LFC? I believe Paul Mitchell is a realistic option: Toby Alderweireld Axel Disasi Dejan Lovren Matheus Cunha Victor Wanyama Nordi Mukiele Son Heung-Min Dele Alli Dani Olmo Dusan Tadic Breel Embolo Kieran Trippier Christopher Nkunku Sadio Mane

210

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 21/08/2026

If #LFC signed Yankuba Minteh earlier in the summer transfer window, I think people would have liked it but questioned his ability to replace Mohamed Salah as our right winger. Buying an injured player and not knowing the price to pay, just before the season starts, is coming off as desperate now.

320

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

It looks like these two signings are going to happen and I am looking forward to seeing them both in #LFC shirts if/when it happens. My only real concern for this season is how do we improve defensively from last season? If we are playing with wingbacks and a two man midfield, we need a top DM now.

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Put Chris Jericho with Adam Copeland and Christian Cage and then them all heel. Legendary wrestlers all trying to fight the younger guys and helping each other win matches, to keep winning titles and claiming they are still the best. When the younger wrestler finally wins the title, it means more.

This is the mentality #LFC need to regain under Andoni Iraola. It's going to take time, we are rebuilding after a really poor season. Anyone who can not meet the level of pressing for 90+ minutes is going to become squad depth and likely sold very soon afterwards. www.instagram.com/reel/DcCehuI...

Keep them away from factions, it didn't work with FTR and I don't think it will work with New Day. Whoever they pair them with, even if it is Swerve Strickland, is going to have Big E comparisons. By all means, introduce them with a trios title match but have New Day turn on Swerve and beat him.

Ultimately, I am going to remain a #LFC fan. The only way I will stop is if they dismantle everything I love about this football club. They are coming in to make money. This feels like Liverpool are going to become the new Chelsea, under Roman Abramovich. More money, higher wages, regular success.

000

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

Woodman, Elliott and Munoz make the 25 man #LFC squad. Ramsay is sold. Chiesa maybe stays until Janaury, when Ekitike can be fit/registered. If you sold Endo and brought in a Wharton or Scott, you could then sell Gomez and bring in a Doue or Fort. Gakpo could be sold to bring in Barcola or Leao?

110

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

I've been thinking too much about how #LFC should work on improving their defence this season. At Bournemouth, Andoni Iraola played a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3 when attacking but would fall back into a 4-4-2 to defend zonal areas and spring man-to-man traps in wider areas. So I would set us up like this:

000

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

I am concerned about #LFC defensively this season, it just never worked well last season. The injuries to Frimpong, Bradley, Gomez, Leoni and Jacquet is an issue. My main concern is Andoni Iraola finding the right style and system to play the way he wants, with a zonal press into man-to-man traps.

100

TJAndrews93 @tjandrews93.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

Great thread. The only way #LFC are competing for the title, after having to transition from Arne Slot's second season football to Andoni Iraola first season football, is if Arsenal stumble dramatically and the other teams also struggle to adapt to their new managers. Unlikely but not impossible.
