Power girl is a sad shell of her former self

Should’ve used it to tie the two closer together instead of just erasing Lilith’s history

This cover is everything. Dick literally on a tight rope between his past and his present but he's so calm. He won't fall because he's a Flying Grayson 🥺

Thanks for all the kind words on Nightwing #121 this week. Next month, we look to the past...

I like this run but people have overrated it. There’s a reason only Argent really stuck.

It makes my skin crawl how popular this book is

110

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 30/11/2024

I think it should’ve been permanent since he didn’t go back to Nightwing after Bruce’s return. The fact we never seen why he went back makes it feel especially cheap Don’t think he would benefit from being Batman again

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 26/11/2024

I would love that but if it’s TT animated inspired it needs to have Dick as Robin

010

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

The part about Slade’s family values is easily the funniest part of this

010

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 24/11/2024

I think this team really needs some solid meta commentary tbh it feels weird to just ignore that they’ve been completely lapped

110

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

I like DickKory, TimSteph and WallyLinda Clois probably rounds off the top 5

230

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

Love them. In my top 4 ships maybe?

130

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

Greta and Kon would also relate a lot to the situation of the metas under the DEO’s control, reminding them on the DEO and N.O.W.H.E.R.E Cassie is of course the leader, with Tim being second in command. The team will often split into two groups

010

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

Bart and Kon also lend themselves more to stealth than other speedster or kryptonians, with Bart’s speed scouts and Kon’s TTK being great for recon and entry respectively Tanya would help research the new metas powers and the likes

110

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

Experience in this sorta field after the dark side club and her time on the titans after no justice Ray was chosen as he was on both YJ and the justice foundation Sideways for quick portaling to maintain stealth, as well as his powers coming from no justice

110

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

Albeit the denouncing would just be for show, I think it could still create angst Why the focus on the new metas and the DEO? Standard MO for this gen, it was a big part of the original YJ with secret, the n52 run was similar with N.O.W.H.E.R.E and Miss Martian has a lot of

110

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

I also think the foundation, the new identities and the idea of the league denouncing them would create a lot of commentary and reflection on where the YJ gen is nowadays, they thought they’d be the JL but now they’re on the outskirts, forced to pick new names and denounced

210

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

Why justice foundation? The foundation is a team created in rebirth justice league of America, it’s a successor to the weird offshoot league from that run. It operated out of the cave in happy harbour, the same base YJ used

110

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

However with the restrictions imposed on them, they need someone else to do it. In comes our heroes, however the league are strict about it: no mantles or logos linking them to the league, if they become public the league need to denounce them

110

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 22/11/2024

After the events of absolute power, many new metahumans are popping up. The world however doesn’t fully trust the league and they’re not welcome everywhere Across the globe, the DEO are also picking up these new metas quickly. The league need to ensure they’re safe

Thank you, I had to go onto the actual website to enable it

010

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

How do I view labelled media

110

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

As for the super sons characters (Jon, Nobody/Maya and Beacon/Kathy), Beacon and Nobody are admittedly stretches, however Jon is not. His n52 version was associated with the team and he had multiple crossovers with the rebirth team, as well as DC collecting super sons in these Walmart books

040

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

Now touching on why I included characters from YJ who never made the jump to the titans and why I count the super sons as a titans adjacent book: DC included YJ exclusive members like Arrowette and the wonder twins in the death metal titans story

250

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

I feel like this era lasting up until rebirth is pretty self explanatory. Once the core cast of YJ take over the titans books they pretty much stay as the core cast of characters until rebirth Rebirth and academy generation are together as rebirth directly leads into it

140

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

I think this is the best place to start a new generation as it’s an entirely new core of characters and they’re seen as the same age range as YJ (who a lot of people would count as the next gen) and counted as the same era (as YJ) by DC themselves.

130

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

This brings us to Jurgen’s Titans, a new take on the team spinning out of zero hour (which erased most of the team titans) focusing on a new cast of characters, led by a deaged atom. Eventually some older titans would appear

130

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

An argument could be made for Arsenal’s titans, it is a younger team and doesn’t have all that much connection to the originals, however the fact it’s still part of New Titans and written by Wolfman makes me think that the next team is a better place to start a new generation

130

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

However it failed and this team just folded over into new titans. Most of the team were erased from history during zero hour, which we’ll get to in a minute

140

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

Now let’s look at what I consider to be the proper first attempt at a new titans generation, The team titans Originally called the teen titans this group of teens were from an alternate future and had their own book, called team titans. DC wanted this to be their X-Force

140

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

Some people would point to NTT as a separate generation but I disagree, the new crop of characters are similar ages and are treated as equals of the original titans Throughout the run younger members join but they are just younger parts of that first generation

150

Dario @titanstower.bsky.social · 20/11/2024

Now moving onto how I decided the generations, because most titans fans have differing opinions on this. The general consensus is there’s at least 3 generations, some people would say there’s more but 3 is the most common The problems is where does each generation start and end?
