#portfolioday Hey. Despite everything, it's still Alessandro - an italian guy trying to make a living out of #pixelart. I used to work in the movie art department, but that was just a phase, MOM! I also have game asset packs (tilesets & characters mainly) for sale on my Itch and Patreon pages.

A top down pixel art of the Going Merry Ship from One Piece, sailing calmly through the waves. The Strawhat jolly roger waves gently at the very top of the mainmast. A Palestine flag waves atop the rear mast, where a red, white and green sail is also found right below. Many green, red, white and black triangular flags are tied to the ropes all around.
The crew can be spotted all around: Sanji is looking at a watermelon crate, possibly thinking of new recipes. Tony Tony Chopper is strolling happily down the staircase in the deck. Zoro is taking a nap at the bottom of the main mast. Nico Robin is relaxed, leaning on the main central deck railing and watching the waves, with a book by her side. Nami is looking towards the horizon from the bow deck where Usopp can be found as well, busy with ship's reparations. Luffy is sitting atop the sheep figurehead, with his arms stretched, hugging the giant watermelon he is enthusiastically eating.

An illustration of a flooded forest with rich, lush vegetation from the movie Princess Mononoke, by Hayao Miyazaki. In a clearing between trees, shrouded by warm light, the silhouette of the Forest God, looking directyl at the viewer.
Scattered across the fern leaves, the tree bark and grass, many kodama spirits can be seen.

Reflected in the lake below, the warm light dims into a nocturnal sky, as the deer god reflection takes the shape of the starlit Nightwalker.

$A pixel art of the pokemon Bronzong and Bronzor. The steel/psychic pokemon is embedded in an intricate frame wall, perfectly shaped around him. Two Bronzor are located at its sides. The dark temple is lit by a bright flame contained in a horned urn right below Bronzong. This round brazier is shaped like the headpiece of the legendary pokemon Ting-Lu. The bright flame causes all sorts of reflections and color diffractions: from the warm light to the characteristic shades of oxidated bronze, with purple and cold reflections as well. Upon further inspection, the rich frame carvings reveal many historiated scenes: below bronzong there's a lunette holds stylized figures of Dialga, Palkia and Giratina. Above the two Bronzor, embedded in the frame, the silhouettes of Uxie, Azelf and Mesprit. On the higher part of the structure, right above Bronzong, the effigy of Arceus, lit by a cold light.$

Two pixelart mockups of a top-down game with an urban punk kind of vibe.

1. A warehouse/garage kind of setting, with old cars, crates and metallic structures. The metallic shutter door is slowly opening, as light from outside filters in, reflected on the ruined, concrete flooring. A giant mechanic robot gorilla construct is exhausting steam from its valves, as the Chief Mechanic, called "Oloap" speaks to the player through a message box. In italian he says: "Un gran bel tocco di ferraglia, non c'è che ire. Prima volta che voro su un mecha-gorila. Maaa... quella sciarpina?". Translation: "What a fine piece of scrap metal you got for me. It's my first time working on a mecha-gorilla... not so sure about it wearing a scarf, though."

2. It's a hot sunset and Colin, a young man with teal blue hair tied with a headband and a subtle smirk has reached the center of a forested junkyard. The area is full of scrap metal and wire, with many broken electric devices. At the center of the forest clearing a huge pile of rubbish, rusty cars, construction materials, street lighta and more can be seen. At the bottom of the scrap tower, there's an opening in the metal with a dim light and old drapes on the side.

The message box at the bottom of the screen showcases Colin's mugshot and a line of monologue: "Unbelievable! That's the source of the magnetic anomaly. I wonder what Oloap wants from that pile of Junk".
