I am so happy and proud to have graduated today from the University of Reading, receiving a BSc with Honours in Meteorology and Climate!!!👩‍🎓🎉 Thank you so much to all the wonderful faculty who have helped me with my degree journey! Onwards to the next chapter of my life: Operational Meteorologist!

Enjoying the cool and pleasant morning air, just after sunrise, before a second day of unprecedented May heat. Yesterday Reading broke its record Maximum temperature for May, and I swear it was hotter inside my room than outside! Eying the chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon to cool things off 🤞

It’s a lovely, fresh evening on campus after the heavy rain earlier, so I went for a wander along the path by Whiteknights lake.

I just completed and submitted my undergraduate project dissertation on Space Weather! I thoroughly enjoyed the whole project, but that doesn’t mean I’m not relieved to have finished! Of relevance, here is some of the primary data I used in my project, photo by yours truly!

Today marks 3 years since one of the deadliest tornado outbreaks of this century. 92 people were killed by the storms across the Midwest and Midsouth. Many communities were devastated by the tornadoes on that violent December night, and I wish them the best in their continuing efforts to rebuild.
