Well this isn't at all how I expected the day to go. My little Fluke is gone. She was old, and had issues that were being treated. But she was doing ok. When I checked on her this morning she had a mystery head wound and made it clear she was ready to go.

That is officially the sleeping basket now. I've been dealing with my husband being deployed, a sick dog, and trying to keep up with everything else, so sorry for lack of ratty pictures. They're all doing well.

I'm stupid and lost several parts we need to add more platforms and baskets to the boys' upgraded cage, but they've been enjoying having more space anyway. Eugene loves draping himself over this one to sleep.

I wanted to do an L shaped cage for all of the girls, but decided to keep the older girls in a separate cage for now. Easier to keep track of some small health issues popping up with them. The babies love having more space. Still need to finish adding toys and hammocks.

We got an off-brand Critter Nation sized cage to give the girls more space and I lost it at the picture on the assembly instructions. I knew my rats were spoiled but a whole house?! Haha
