It's not a single thing (is it tho?), but before I ever played mtg, I was asked to guest as a villain-adjacent NPC (my favorite thing lol) in my friend's 5e Eldraine campaign -- Alela. I've never loved a character I don't know more, so my partner made me an Alela artifacts deck for Christmas. 1/3
