just spent several days slowly working Boo’s insulin schedule back to our regular time and then his body went and decided to have healthy sugars tonight randomly so we STILL haven’t done his insulin… might be a skip day if he stays steady? but we will see sigh

gosh I’m so sorry abt ur pets having these health issues! caregiver burnout is so real! it’s okay to not be able to perform like normal when dealing w these types of things. I’ve had a similar experience w my cat’s diabetes diagnosis this year. I hope u can find time & energy to take care of u!! 🩷

giving my cat his vitamin B12 shot freaks me out every time. partly bc the big scary needle & it’s not often, but also bc I don’t want to accidentally inject bubbles into a vein 😵‍💫 his insulin is so much easier bc the needle is so tiny, much easier to make sure there’s no bubbles, & twice daily
