Tell me about it, I'm trying to design a character and as soon as I'm close to done coloring, I decide her whole skirt needs to be redone _(:ｪ」∠)_

Instead of the dogshit Odyssey film you should watch Iphigenia (1977). It’s made by actual Greek people and focuses on the relationship between women in times of war. Also the main actress has the face of an angel 🙏😔

Been playing around with designs for Helan Qing from PDL's new book HYHQ. Since there's not many physical descriptions of her yet my doodles aren't super canon compliant but it's just for fun anyways

For myself it usually means I don't have enough texture on my piece. It's either that or I need to boost the saturation a bit and define my values a bit more. If you can, trying viewing the piece in grayscale to see what pops out first, and what's lost without color, then adjust from there (*´ ˘ `*)

happy *quiet, chill* pride

The chill otter is laying down next to a phone with rainbow beams fanning out of it. They look at the phone and see it says June 1st, and after a brief contemplation, they snuggle up under a progress pride blanket, phone plugged in farther away. It reads “It’s ok if you are tired. Happy *quiet, chill* Pride.”

I GOT MY DAUGHTER SON! Making her clothes now, slowly but surely... #JWQS

Making a pattern for her clothes, Qi Yan minidoll is wearing some scrap white fabric shaped to look like her official wiki design outfit

Qi Yan minidoll wearing an unhemmed version of her outfit with the proper color and type of material.

Qi Yan minidoll wearing her outer robe which is mostly hemmed and lined with the proper material and color.

I cosplayed Niffty this weekend for Planet ComicCon! I hung out with Alastor at the W&Rc booth like I do every year #PlanetComicon

An Adam cosplayer laying on the ground, myself as Niffty knealing over him with a foam knife raised over him. Alastor tied to a chair looking from behind.

Speaking of great alternatives to the franchise that must not be named, if you really want a great story about complex characters learning magic, playing magical sports, and fighting evil while also including LGBT+ rep go watch The Owl House!

lmao saying "canon in my heart" made me think of like. heartcanon being a thing as opposed to headcanon headcanon - something i believe could be plausible based on evidence in the text or general themes/characterization heartcanon - this has little basis/may even be unlikely but i love it SOOO MUCH
