I never thought we would have one, but we were getting litter at the store and she was the only one left and they were giving her away for free. We were concerned what her life might end up like and since we have three, we knew she'd be able to socialize. Fit right in!

GPs are bred and shown just like dogs are and several breeds have very long hair when shown. Luckily, Harriet does not have to deal with that. Just waiting for her bad haircut to grow out. Her hair grows about an inch per month.

She actually gets around really well. It was hard at first because when we got her, the hair in front was short and kept falling in her face. Now it's long enough she can toss her long bangs back with the rest. I do trim it so her cage mates won't walk on it and her rear stays clean.
