What is a throwaway line in a movie that lives rent free in your head? Mine is the little spiel that Tom Cruise gives in MI-3 where he explains that when someone taps their brakes in rush hour, you can see the ripple effect for 200 miles. I think of that every time I'm stuck in my commute.

I hate when I read a book that is right up my alley and realize that it's not a complete series and I have to wait for the next one to come out. At least the author is fairly prolific, and not pulling a G.R.R. Martin. Oh, it's a LitRPG series called The Unintended Cultivator, by Eric Dontigney.

I always find it hilarious when Scout tells me she doesn't like a certain vegetable, but then, after I cook it a certain way, eats half of the bowl. Case in point: Brussels Sprouts. Halved, tossed with garlic infused olive oil and rough chopped bacon. Roasted at 425 F for a half hour.
