#xivwomenweek - an idea I had all the way back when playing the heavensward patches, which I finally cleaned up.

Ysayle and the Word of the Mother are floating in front of the giant crystal, shown in silhouette (Ysayle in blue, Minfilia in pink) and then again as close crops of their faces with details drawn in. Ysayle looks excited, Minfilia looks pained.
Word of the Mother: Oh, child of Hydaelyn… How I have let you down. I wish I could have met you.
Ysayle: Mothercrystal… You are meeting me now!
A hazy sepia toned panel of Minfilia in the solar, cut off above her eyes, is inset.
Minfilia: I meant… as myself.

got my flu & covid juice and experienced unique and unprecedentedly painful injection techniques at the hands of the tech. luckily I’ve been tempered by my advanced training methods

Drawing of a figure seated politely to receive vaccinations. Next to them, a tech wearing a face mask and impressively robust biceps is violently and powerfully stabbing their arm with a blunt knife representing a syringe. Blood is spraying everywhere including both their faces. The tech cheerfully comments, impressed, “Wow, you’re doing so well! Usually people at least flinch or yell haha.” The patient says “Thank you” with a neutral, meditative expression and no indication of pain. This is because they are thinking about crazy insane explicit yaoi to cope.

The image is an original illustration of Erenville from Final Fantasy XIV. The next phrases would be spoilers for the storyline if you're not caught up: He holds a small keychain that resembles the machine body Cahciua used to communicate with people.

I've chosen to depict the portion of "And wherever your journey takes you, keep me close to your heart will you?" post story, Erenville keeping a little keepsake with a bit of recency-bias that reminds him of his mother as we never got to learn what else would remind him of her.

We also see him carrying one around when he makes for his solo adventure after the main story scenario.

on the bottom right is my watermark which reads "Atelier Apricity"

This is part of what I'm referring to with many people demanding stories that reassure them they're a good person. They want the moral instruction because otherwise, rather than processing the reading experience, there's a thrum of "am I bad? am I bad? what if someone finds out I'm bad?"

Tumblr post by graftini:

stories about abuse are allowed to exist without reducing themselves to moral instruction. i think sometimes when people complain about the “romanticization” of abuse, what they're actually objecting to isn't necessarily the way abuse is being represented, but the fact that the representation doesn't provide them with constant moral reassurance. like, there is a difference between “this story frames abuse as desirable or inherently romantic” and “this story depicts abuse in an erotic/ambiguous/complicated way and doesn't repeatedly tell me that abuse is bad, therefore the depiction itself is irresponsible.”

If you're like me and on iOS, and got locked out of 18+ servers, but you're classified as an adult, go into the discord web app and recheck the age restricted servers on iOS. Even if it's already checked, uncheck it and check it again. That should solve your issue. This whole thing is dumb as hell.

Zenos yae Galvus, Imperial Crown Prince — circa - 1569 of the Sixth Astral Era Pre-ARR concept for my fic #CoerthanTraitor #Zenos #ffxiv

Character sheet of Zenos yaw Galvus - Imperial Crown Prince.
Standing at attention in all his glory, hand toying with Crow's upright dagger embedded into a map and the wooden table below. He wears a slight but insufferably smug smile, his other hand sliding over his elaborate magitek dual-blade scabbard.

Back view of the prince, with combat move set sketch next to it.
Figure 1 - Zenos thrusting his sword behind him, creating a rearward explosion
Figure 2 -Zenos cutting down a trio with a frontal dual-bladed semi-circle slash.
Figure 3 - Zenos sending a poor man to the afterlife with a simple frontal kick, swords be damned.

Then different facets of his terrible and beautiful visage.
Expressions: Glaring Zenos, passionate Zenos and malevolently smug Zenos
