iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

It makes me so happy seeing artists I watch use Drawpile. The brush engine rework has been amazing!

Returning to the roots. The lands have healed. I'm sending this to multiple friends. I nabbed the harsback so fast the red and gold looks gorgeous! I might have to get softcover as an add-on just to keep it absolutely pristine.

The artist plight. Post a work that took 5 hours, 0 likes. Post a 5 minute drawing of a chunky cat, 5k.

I just aged to dust. This was one of the most basic form of humor in the late 2000's - mid 2010's. Before that was the motivational poster meme.

"Mother, I am soaked and will surely catch a cold unless I can wipe my face off on your shirt."

Omg those movements are so natural and gorgeous!

Jeff is a pretty cool guy. I don't play Rivals; I just think he's cute.

So, I've been very iffy on commissions for a long time due to fear of commitments, as well as health issues (extremely chronic migraines) and expectations. I might need to open them up now due to Buster managing to damage her beak in such a way that it needs to be trimmed every month.

Vtubing still relies heavily on shaky AI face detection or hotkeys no matter which route you go. Overall I'd say it depends on animation style, and if you want to focus on face capture, go the live2d route, which that generally does best with an ios device.

tincancrab @tincancrab.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

Yes, its doable. Especially if you're expecting to be just from that perspective. Because at the end of the day, it's still just a 2D image. Pngtubing has gotten way advanced too, with my fingers on that pulse as well. Some very nice mouse tracking and states based on parameters.

I've never participated in a #SpyroCommunityDay, but figured I should. The OG trilogy was a huge part of my childhood. It made me interested in games, and big into dragons. Plus, the soundtracks were 10/10. Here's some quick art from Drawpile to celebrate a positive memory of my youth! #Spyro

My fav photo of frog. Guy must've been swimming in my barrel pond before this.

A small grey treefrog on a solar panel. Behind it is a line of little wet frog butt shaped prints. It is moisturized and thriving.

Noted. I'll try uploading more sketches?

More of this black hole eldritch being. He revels in being an aesthetic image of the species he imitates, but shoehorns in his own features. He knows he's an image of beauty and horror. They identify however they please, which, in this timeline, is more masculine. Next universe, probably female.

World Eater Oblivion having a snack. The rest of the star system is probably soon to follow. Done in Drawpile

Petition to start calling people who scrape without consent (basically any person who scrapes) a scrapist. People seem to have gotten extremely dumb or ignorant about consent in the past 15 years.

"It's just a bird." "It's just a bunny." "It's just a lizard." Living things you put love into and get love/joy in return. Companions. Anyone who says it's different from a cat or a dog probably bullies children and eats drywall.

Spyros of soundtrack was a work of art. Dark Passage slapped way hard with the guitar.

Yes. Literal stinky no touchy cat who must sniff everything but cannot be left alone.

I thought I uploaded a pic of my bird and I was half asleep. I thought "that dont exactly look like them but mby its the light" No its one I saved. In return, here's both my stinkies. The cat, and classic gcc must be hold.

Dealt with too many relationships that made me feel alone/worthless, be it partners, friends, and sometimes family. Being alone can sting. But being with someone who doesn't make you feel seen or human is damaging and dangerous to your wellbeing far more.

Imagine ignoring a show on your platform for over 4 years and then suddenly pulling a "nuh-uh!" to rewrite the rules when MW joins Netflix for funding, because YT did f-all for the series beyond being a platform. It knows it's a hole for indie animation unless you're lucky or with a studio.

Sweet, thanks! Been looking into pens, and while there's so many expensive ones, dip pens just seem to be the way to go for cost and effectiveness.

Curious. What your favorite pen(s)?

Wrong post to reply, but related. It's why they don't want the watermark. They realize the average person dislikes it/sees it as effortless slop. Thinking up a prompt isn't effort. It's just pre-brainstorming and passing the thinking and work off to the AI.

010

tincancrab @tincancrab.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

The AI bros upset their stuff being watermarked is like. You never owned it. It's like being mad you commissioned a piece and the artist signed it. Maybe actually think and do things instead of having an LLM tell you the best way to wipe your own ass.

The idea you need to smooth out brushstrokes is something some AI bro would say. Guy spent their entire art class sniffing Sharpies and eating glue. People literally create entire shaders and materials in Blender to emulate the nature of brush strokes. No brush strokes is an overworked painting.

Jokes on them anyways, Autism is in the family genes bc my ass got it.

Ah no, thats their oc, but they had a crush on one of my ocs, as mentioned in the description. But unfortunately, I havent heard from them in ages.

I've been telling people not to sleep on this show since Episode 1. While licensing is always huge uncertain step, I think it will get a lot more eyes on this masterpiece. Wishong the best for you and your team! Also, those birds' college funds aren't gonna pay themselves.

Oh thank you! I couldn't tell you much about Sketchychik, I have vague memories looking at their gallery, but its been over a decade ago. I'm not even sure what art you're talking about. ;;

As someone who has followed you since those days. I am beyond understanding. Nothing beats animals in storytelling, as well as the absolute variety of shapes and expressions they introduce.

It made me feel more comfortable drawing them as they were meant to be. A mascot doesn't have to be you, unless you want it to be. Sometimes cutting the cord and having a self representation to express your own thoughts and emotions through without making another character go ooc is the best choice.

010

tincancrab @tincancrab.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Omg, yes, I did this with my sona over a decade ago and gave her a name separate from mine. It made things less confusing for me, as the personality was not me at all, and she had her own story. Downside: I still have no sona. My rep is now a fuzzy little critter.

tincancrab @tincancrab.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

Oaugh I like the form on this! Drawing folks on the heavier side is always a joy because of the way the skin folds and subcutaneous fat is distributed. Its underappreciated.
