Recap from the home opener. Like 95% good and 5% things to work on. Spin zone: that’s a good thing #njdevils www.allaboutthejersey.com/devils-game-...

Sunny has certainly raised the floor for the Devils, but is it enough to address the biggest issue we’ve had the past two seasons #NJDevils www.allaboutthejersey.com/2025-26-devi...

Same - sports have always been ripe for change, we’ve already moved from starter/backup to 1a/1b.. seems like the next step

Curious whether he holds some bullets like these into the season so he can make almost anything work

Just keep telling them to listen to the uncle puckers

Tim Wood @timwuud.bsky.social · 05/02/2026

Welp guess we now have the 4C and a glass is 3C moving forward. Dummy would be my #1, I’m actually writing a blog right now about GM candidates. Generally think an AGM from a winning org that appropriately applies analytics, particularly in finding under valued players in pro scouting

We never did get a saging bc of the burial ground

010

Tim Wood @timwuud.bsky.social · 04/02/2026

Need a new GM to come in and lay down some ultimatums on a new direction. These aren’t in season things either, but I think they can get a kickstart now with Dougie etc.. glass is shooting almost 20% so I think he is better suited as a 4C, but not a major issue

Tim Wood @timwuud.bsky.social · 02/02/2026

He waived so I’ve read, but those lists are kept under lock and key. The way I see it, we need to move one of Bratt/Timo (ideally Timo), one of Siegs/Dillon, Dougie and find 2 4L wings that aren’t 30+ and we are back to needing a 1W and 3C again Fitz is generationally incompetent

110

Tim Wood @timwuud.bsky.social · 01/02/2026

I do! Hasn’t stopped GMs from working around them before. Palat waived for the isles. This obviously comes with the thought that we will have a new GM who can look at this group dispassionately

My concern is knee injuries have effects long after a guy returns. Took Connor Brown over a year to even remotely resemble himself.

I dunno - Dougie never struck me as a guy who wants to win and the taxes might be enticing. But still think we need to find our way to ROR and it was lazy writing

110

Tim Wood @timwuud.bsky.social · 31/08/2025

I honestly don’t think there is much with Timo and the LW/RW issue. Pro teams use F1/F2/F3 systems, so there is no real positional assignments on the ice. Just lanes.
