Good win yesterday. Nice to see Isak getting back to his best. Munoz is a constant terror. Wirtz not his best game but last match you saw his quality. Still have defensive frailties and probably will all season. Barcola looked sharp and quick. Gakpo probably our best player this season so far.

In terms of signings I am happy with the quality of them. I think all 4 (yes I am included Jacquet in this) will add plenty to the team. We have left ourselves short but we were never going to fix everything when our owners and Director of football have their attention focused elsewhere.

Writing off Wirtz and Isak after last season is nuts. Isak was basically injured all season and Wirtz showed enough glimpses he is worth persisting with. Let's give Iraola a season to see what he can get out of them. Same can be said about Kerkez who is still young.

Not surprised at Fifa bending over backwards. They want the US and to a lesser extend Canada to become more invested in football. In monetary terms their far more valuable than all countries except big European countries. If China ever host it the same thing will happen.

So the start of another era is upon us. I think everyone should look at it as another season of transition. There is plenty of Iraola to work with but there will also be players who just don't fit.

All I want is to play entertaining football again. That is really what football is all about to me. I don't watch to see goals scored from corners or rugby throw ins but from exciting football.

I'll always thank Slot for winning us the Premier League but last season was dismal. He handled the Jota situation with grace and respect and it was difficult for everyone. However, there was no glimmer of hope in the second half of of the season we had signs of life coming through.

Honestly we need another big summer again. Not because last summer was bad but more due to the inactivity of prior summers. Our net spend is still way below lots of other clubs in the past 5 years. We didn't add any depth to our team last summer.

Slot isn't going anywhere so we should just behind the team and manager. If he continue getting output out of Wirtz, Ekitike and Salah we should be able to get top 4 but our injuries and depth aren't helping.

So after watching Burnley I felt we were unlucky to not win. We had enough chances and had we made better decisions could have opened them up more. We need to learn to get Wirtz involved more centrally and get Kerkez and Frimpong in positions where they can take on the full backs.

Wasn't a great performance but all our goals were pretty good. Nice to see Frimpong scoring his first goal. Wirtz continuing his output and Ekitike back is always good to see.

I feel like yesterday's performance was one of our best given the circumstance. It's a bitter blow to lose Bradley to another injury. Hopefully we can take some momentum from the performance.

I don't think we should compare ourselves to Arsenal's squad. Arteta is in his 6th season and built it over 6 years. They also have spent over £300m more in net spend on transfers over the past 5 years. We're in a rebuilding phase. Different transfer approaches.

There are definitely arguments we did too much. However we needed a new RB to replace Trent, a new LB to replace Robbo, two new strikers to replace Nunez and Jota. We also needed a new CB. We might have pushed our luck with Wirtz on top of that. We probably should have kept Diaz for some continuity

Honestly the Premier League is a dour league right now because refs and VAR have allowed it to be over physical. The Premier League needs to be punishing teams for over physicality during set pieces, corners, throws in or this league will continue to lose its global appeal.

As 2025 closes I think in hindsight we should have anticipated a more transitional season despite the big summer splurge. Maybe the club expected it too. We’ve had to and are still coping with the traumatic loss of Jota.

Somehow we end 2025 in 4th despite going on such a terrible run. The Premier League this year is mad. What gives me optimism is Ekitike,Wirtz, Kerkez and Frimpong starting to settle and find their feet. We've seen such a drop off from the likes of Mo, Mac etc others needed to step up.

With the Isak injury we definitely need attacking reinforcements. Slot only trusts Ekitike,Gakpo and Wirtz. Chiesa and Rio aren't even considerations for him.

Both Slot and Salah need to go. Slot because he isn't up to it and Salah because he's just undermined the club. It still doesn't mean we should disparage Salah's legacy and what Slot did for the club.

How we integrate Wirtz is going to be interesting. Clearly playing as a 10 weakens our midfield balance so far now he'll need to play on the left. Long term I am sure we see him as a 10 but we'll need to sign different players before that.
