iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Avalonia isn't really WPFx. It's similar but they have the ability to take what is good from different UI framework. Also many features are unique to Avalonia, you won't get it from anywhere else.

They keep telling us #WPF is dead. I built something new anyway: the MahApps.Metro Gallery. Yes, it is "just" a demo app. But hey ;-) it's made with ❤️ github.com/MahApps/MahA... #dotnet #MahApps #ControlzEx

I really like the new gallery from the pictures above. Will have to try it next week on my own. For me I still have WPF Apps and can't wait to update them to v3. I'm impressed how much energy you have spent recently on this project 🤜🏻🤛🏻

It absolutely is possible to port. But it would be more or less a rewrite due to the differences in styling between Avalonia and WPF. It's still what I'm missing the most from WPF

I didn't see that comming (soon)😅 Really love to see MahApps is still a thing in 2026. Looking forward to 3.0 release 🥳

@libreoffice.bsky.social has an issue tracker. Either upvote an existing feature request or file a new one if none is there yet. It will not solve your issue right now but it will help developers to understand what is needed / used by the users. They listen, other than the paid alternative 😉
