Scratch the Ubuntu Studio thing. Apparently Ubuntu isn't in a good spot right now if you've got Nvidia hardware. Which I do. (I plan on jumping to AMD when 9080 and 9090 drop and are at MSRP)

So I gave it one last push. One last REAL push. I tried Ubuntu Studio this time. And y'know what? I got it working. Really working. Workflow is flowing. Music is producing... The final chip is VR, which is right on the horizon. I think it's right time I left Windows behind.

Y'know, ever since becoming an adult with a debit card, I have started to treat hard cash like gift cards. I almost never carry it, and I often use it to reduce the cost of something before paying for the rest with my actual account.
