Zombie Token Proxies: I made a bunch while trying to figure out how to draw more unique zombies. Though I am easily scared, I’d love to know what your favorite zombies are! 🙈 #mtgalters #mtgproxy #mtg #tokentober

1/1 Zombie Token Proxy. Green with black outlines and red outlines outside the black outlines. This one has an extra skeletal face and has the body position inspiring by an existing zombie token!

1/1 Zombie Token Proxy. Green with black outlines and red outlines outside the black outlines. This one has a square face and looks angry.

1/1 Zombie Token Proxy. Green with black outlines and red outlines outside the black outlines. This one is also inspired by an existing token pose and shape but heavily stylized! I want to keep trying and working on making more unique zombies. I’m kind of spooked easily but let me know your favorite looking zombies.

Goblins & Zombie Proxies all hand drawn and painted by me! #mtgalters #mtgproxy #mtg

1/1 Goblin Creature Token Proxy. He’s a green guy wearing a collar and tie.

1/1 Goblin Creature Token proxy. Little cute goblin who is blushing and has fangs sitting down on a black background

1/1 Zombie Token rushed as heck. It’s teal on a black background I made it in like 30 seconds but I’m posting it because it has been created. Maybe someone will appreciate the gold teeth and sparkle eye

Screenshot from my whatnot stream where I created all these goblins and zombies live within 2 hours.

Three land alters I drew at Happy Hollow Park & Zoo 🐐 #mtgalters #mtgproxy #happyhollow

Acrylic pen on a red background. Image of a goat facing away from the viewer with two abstract mountain triangles. Magic: the Gathering Mountain alter.

Brown pen on yellow painted background. The drawing is the front of a tortoise surrounded by triangles in the frame. The text reads, “African Spurred Tortoise” and it is a Magic: the Gathering Plains alter.

Anteater drawing in blue acrylic pen on a yellow background on a magic: the gathering plains card.

Some more spooky season related alters I've done previously. I didn't think the Horror was obscure but no one seems to get the reference 😅 #mtgalters

A flying spirit token alter with a little ghost

A basic swamp altered with a yellow skeleton holding a scythe, a reference to the card from the game Lotería, La Muerte

Mysterious Creature altered with spooky eyes from the opening of the original Scooby Doo

A Horror Token altered with Manos, the titular villain from the film "Manos, the Hand of Fate" which was roasted by MST3K. He's a guy with a mustache wearing a black poncho with red hands on it

Yes, for some reason the foil anime arts stick out to me as really difficult 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m going back and listening to the Magic Story Podcast in order to catch up on all the lore (and the tea) 👀👀

You tell me🐸 just kidding, I think the original art is always inspiring and my art is like fan art of the original work😇

Yes, I’m quite impatient and prefer to just draw more. They are real cards 🃏

I love an “easy” border extension and if it’s too difficult (has too many details, lots of orange/red/yellow, etc) I just make it a proxy or paint a creature into it 😅😅

I didn’t redraw the original art, didn’t plan any layouts. I found screenshots and poses from shows/manga and just drew without sketching while playing with proportions but I want to keep drawing them more to make them stranger or at least more unique!
