High Plains Mysteries. Sitting behind a gated road south of Seibert Colorado is one of the more mysterious abandoned houses I have found. The house appears both modern and older in design, construction methods, and appearances. There is even a stained glass window still remaining.

LP at Night. After foolishly deciding not to chase yesterday, I happened to see some amazing mothership pictures on socials. I decided to drive out and capture what I could. Duel Low Precipitation (LP) based storm in its final hour.

Thunderstorm over a corn field. The storm has what is called an LP or Low precipitation base; meaning little to no rain is falling and the storm bottom has a circular look.

In October, I shot my first ever desert lightning bolts. Because it was at night, I really couldn't do much for the composition. It was still a really fun and unexpected capture. Near Natural Bridges National Monument, Utah.

The Model General Store I was surprised to find someone was living here. As I approached for the shot, several dogs ran up in defense of the property. Though they were all friendly, a skinny, lengthy figure shouted apologies from a doorway. "Sorry Dude", said the man. (Continued ⬇️)

We lost a titan. Robert Redford was an amazing actor and person. He stared in my favorite western of all time; Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. In addition to being an actor, Redford was a champion for the environment and human rights. Rest easy Kid.
