I've been chasing a $200 invoice for *checks notes* 14 months. Pinged the EiC this afternoon, after being told in April he'd reissue a check, I'd just need to submit a new invoice. His response is the same as it was three months ago. This is why I largely stepped away from freelance editorial.

I spent the afternoon in Photoshop and fighting with Instagram to get these to line up and split into ten slides. Shot a festival over Labor Day and Daikaiju put on the wildest set I've ever seen. The Kabuki-masked instrumental surf rockers had the crowd take the stage 2x, then burned guitars

Film itself isn’t necessarily expensive ($27.35 for four rolls of cheaper stock isn’t awful) but man developing and scanning sure is. $120 for four rolls of b/w scanned as TIFFs is where I’m considering a home darkroom and scanner sooner rather than later. 📷📸
