I implore everybody to sign the petition and signal boost the campaign as far and wide as we can! 151303308
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 3hWait, David Dekker got 5th on an uphil cobble drag? How? But also, fair play. Pretty amazing result for Beat, only cont team in the top 20 010
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 6hBrennan again too active during the race. He should able uphil to follow on this finish as fresh he's a better climber/puncheur than Magnier. 230
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 6hOh wow that was a ridiculously strong final km by Magnier, following the two Lottos on the uphill drag while the entire peloton gets dropped then just blasting past those two. 230
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Because both small and large focal lengths distort images, just look at the images below, or read the Wikipedia article: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perspec... A "realistic" image is around 50mm. Meanwhile, a phone camera will have a focal length of about 26mm. 020
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 05/10/2026You're taking a photo of your screen here. Both your lens itself and the angle at which you are taking it are warping the image 120
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026And it's not like he hasn't had really solid results before. His 17th on the stage and in GC on UAE Tour has him surrounded by some really good names. Even if it was a year with a "bad" field, a 3th in Avenir still puts you ahead of a lot of riders of your generation. 110
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026I honestly think with the Remcos, Seixases and Finns, who are already worldclass at 19, people forget what the regular development of a rider looks like. 23 is still really young for a professional athlete. 110
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Plus he looked very good in Luxembourg and Pologne, and while I didn't watch that much of it, I think he did solid work in Deutchland Tour as well. 110
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Btw, I think Graat has been doing really well the last couple months. 24th today doesn't seem like much at first glance, but everyone ahead of him are really good, like teamleader on a WT team good, riders. And he's kept some really solid names behind him as well. 120
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Ngl, if I got dusted by Remco like Ciccone was in Quebec, you wouldn't see me take a single pull 030
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Alright, it's very close, but I can't shout conspiracy here 260
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Big race Skuijns once again hitting btw, with a 4th place in a top 10 of more climby guys. 110
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Well,, that photo is useless. Put a line on it, dammit. 160
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Imo the helicopter view looked like Ciccone, but speaker says Evenepoel. Can't wait to see the photo finish. 110
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Lol, Evenepoel got outfoxxed there. Maybe he still took it on the line, but what a way from Ciconne to maximise his sprint. 100
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026I think they managed it, Ciccone refusing to pull now. 100
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Someone find a way to tell Ciccone his teammate is on the way 110
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026I really don't get France here. You've got 3 guys, just pick the guy you think is strongest on the climb and burn the other two to chase. 130
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Ciccone, surely you shouldn't work this much with Remco? 110
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026This was so unneeded, but he just sees red sometimes and all sense goes out the window 110
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Team Belgium everytime Jan Christen attacks #EC2026static.klipy.comJeremy Clarkson's Oh No! ReactionALT: Jeremy Clarkson's Oh No! Reaction 180
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026(That is of course until he runs into the rare heavyweight with halfway decent striking, and his jaw gets launched into the nosebleeds) 010
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Half the division are glass canons anyway, and he's so ridiculously athletic compared to your average heavyweight that this might work surprisingly well. Alistair Overeem made a 23 year long career out of it. 120
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I mean, in most those races they send Lemmen and/or Kelderman as their leader. And I like them, but they don't make the 10 of the team as far as race winning or UCI points scoring options go. 100
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Sure, but the sprint program pretty much is their C-program. Looking at their program this season, he'll probably do TDU, Oman, UAE Tour, NXT Classic, Copenhagen Sprint, Pologne and/or Renewi, ZLM, and Eneco or Guangxi . 110
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I doubt they'll do many races against this quality of field with him tbh. He'll probably do their C-program with riders like Doull, Mattio, Zingle and the dev-team. Maybe with Fiorelli also to some of them as lead out. 100
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Imagine Laporte, after leading out Van Aert, Kooij, and Brennan in his Visma career, now getting stuck with 2026 Jakobsen 😭 121
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Think it was just a bit of tunnel vision. So focused on working for Jakobsen, that he forgot that he should sprint himself if Jakobsen isn't there. 030
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Jakobsen losing his leadout's wheel? Vintage Jakobsen is back! 130
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Crazy sprint by Biesterbos btw, sprinting back to third after getting shoulder barged a lot. 030
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Olav Kooij loves him a sprint where all trains break down #MünsterlandGiro 170
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026It really is unfair Vollering has Pieterse to lead her out #EC2026 040
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Morg using the draft of a roadside runner to attack 😂 140
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026It's probably easier to hit him with the beer after the DNF tbh. Not moving as fast. 020
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Morg looking really strong again, but I hope he's not spending too many bullets already #GiroDell'Emilia 150
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Jonas Abrahamsen Stefan Bisseger Timo Kielich Laurenz Rex Tord Gudmestad Danny van Poppel Tim Merlier With the caveat that it feels unfair to use Mads as non-leader, otherwise he'd get one of the 3-5 spots. 000
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I get it, Ineos really needs the room to sign more climbers 030
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I'm surprised Q36.5 is not ful yet 😂 They've been busy this transfer season. 010
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026I don't think anyone that is confirmed qualifies for that. Barry qualifies right now as "track specialist" if I'm not mistaken, but he would need to race Worlds next month to keep that qualification, since he's not ranked in the top 150 for Endurance or Maddison. 100
Tim Geerestein @timqwe.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Sidenote, did you by any chance read anything about Smith? I doubt he's staying in the Visma infrastructure, but I would like to see him at another professional team. 110
