Prompt Engineering? Sounds difficult. But most of the time, it’s just about clear communication. And it’s easy once you know a few basics. I’ve learned one thing: average in = average out. Let me show you the most important aspects of my learnings: lnkd.in/euWFRi26

Why speaking computers? Conversational AI shines most where natural interaction is needed but simply missing: Rusty chatbots in the bottom right corner Waiting on hold Minutes long phone menus No one answering at all Voicemail Soon, all of these will be a thing of the past.

We have just launched an AI meetup in Hamburg, Germany. No slides, no talks, just interesting conversations with nice people. We call it: The Prompting Club Next round: October 2nd DMs are open if you happen to be in Hamburg and would like to join for inspiring chats about AI.

After 15 years of Wacom pen and mouse, I am trying to learn proper 10 finger touch typing. 4 fingers used blindly and a few other key strokes can be fast. But not fast enough. ⌨️ 🐌 Now 10 fingers. Baby steps ahead: www.keybr.com

Hi Pete, I work on an intelligent calendar, planner and time assistant. Events, tasks, habits, and other time-based items gathered in one timeline. Restructuring some common approaches, which I feel, are dated sometimes. Investing a lot into max. convenient interactions, UX. Dayvy.com

Tech we enjoy every morning: Our espresso machine is connected to a HomeKit smart plug. The necessary heating-up phase can starts 20min before I arrive in the kitchen. 🤖 -> ☕️ -> 🥰

Dayvy won't trick you into subscriptions - unlike so many others now 🤑. No forgotten cancellations after too short test periods. No paywalls thrown in your face after 3 seconds. There’s more to building trust. This was clear to me from day one of building my first mobile app.

Phenomenal how quickly things develop now. For those who might have missed what happened today: www.bbc.com/news/article... One more option for us developers to build valuable tools with.

My kid and I had an Apple Vision Pro demo yesterday. And boy, the Birthday 3d video is impressive. Image by Apple

Live goes on: I love to push myself through the -2’C outside until my system heats up enough to call it a normal run. And although I sometimes tell myself that I don't have the time, afterwards every coding challenge is mastered much faster. 🏃

Sell benefits, not features. „iPod. 1,000 Songs in your pocket.“ Instead of: „5GB of storage on this pocket device.“ The classic line is my single most important learning about marketing. I keep reminding myself about it all the time.

I mostly work and focus in quiet. My inside is entertaining enough. In cases of energy lows or while doing sports I keep coming back to sounds like these. Anyone into Electro and „2nd dancefloor“ House, too? music.apple.com/de/album/hyp... music.apple.com/de/album/pla...

I wasn´t quite aware of that – in fact I think I have seen different checklists side-by-side. Thank you! Claude confirms:

One positive side effect of the embarrassing German Berlin Airport delays was that the public could have running events on the airfield. @rudrankriyam.bsky.social, thinking about your discovery of running here.

Little update for the landing page. Now with the required double-opt-in for the waiting list.

Little (this) and larger (other) failures: FlyFounders was a “non-profit” project started last year. Decided to cancel it before anything. AI started to develop too fast and it would have been hand-curated.

Waitlist is open. I've shown a single screen from my upcoming calendar and the feedback was overwhelming. That´s why I decided to build a quick landing page and waitlist for first TestFlight coming soon. The first 100 places filled up in less than 24h 🤩. I appreciate if you join. www.dayvy.com

One of several view types: The Feed View, which displays event insights at the top level. Work in progress. And no cat pictures in production - promise! #buildinginpublic #buildinpublic Testing the tags

Here's a pretty cool Swift trick I´ve never seen in action before: Use compiler flags to avoid commented out and misformatted code snippets. You can even write stuff incorrectly and come back later, while everything still compiles. Simple thing will make my life easier.

When I founded Twinkind in 2013, we have used photogrammetry to scan people in a split second. Always envisioned a future, where you create your mini likeness at home - almost as easy as a selfie. Well, this future is now. I am sure it will come back.
