Nevermore by Orange Grove Dance at The Voxel is a dance of wonder and gothic horror, in the spirit of Edgar Alan Poe. The technical acumen of the theater is astonishing, as is the accomplished dancing. Thank you WBJC for this interview. www.wbjc.com/interviews/2...

I guess this is what the "deregulate to unshackle productivity" people want to return us to. Labor Day is celebrated due to the sacrifices of laborers. It was won, and not handed over.

This is definitely a quandary for artists, and so I recall the 80s and 90s when Baltimore artists would do trades and get work that they admired and never fully cringe out. If I could revive something in our community, it would be art exchanges.

My dear Julia, a very big Chocolate Lab, loved to roll over on sad smashed and dessicated frogs in the springtime. If I wasn't vigilant, she would snatch them up in a flash and I'd hear her satisfied "crunch-crunch."

We know lantana as pretty flowering annuals, but on the coast of New South Wales it is crushing out native plants like kudzu in the States. They've battled it and lost, for years. This scheme appears to be bonkers, though. Invasive weeds get fought, but the remedies introduce more chaos.
