Full concur. I don’t think that we should accept that any activity outside the home will be tracked by something given the time we live in. I think that level of tracking tips the scale way too far in the wrong direction given how that data can be abused.

I will need to consult the menu they sent us home with to recall what it was that we even ate; but immediate recall is that the potato course was especially 😋 we also did the wine pairing, with my favorite one escaping me but it was a “red wine masquerading as a white” from Italy

Everything was incredible, and I actually think I enjoyed the meatless things better (despite them having A5 Wagyu on the menu). When I booked they had a vegetarian tasting option! Maybe they added that (or is it not really vegetarian?)?

Just watched a video where a flock employee installing a camera called the cops on an investigative journalist for taking pictures/video of the install. Supposedly feared for his safety from being captured on video. A flock employee concerned about being “flocked”? Woah woah.

With respect to the police chief, APD doing its “due diligence” and “getting it right” would have looked like asking for permission to use Flock, not trying to force justifications after the fact and asking for forgiveness. Operations due diligence ≠ democratic due diligence.
