Built in 1622 they nearly demolished this Edinburgh house in the late 1800s! Thankfully Lady Stair’s House was saved.. and is now a much loved Writers' Museum 📚

Good morning! 🪴 How scrumptious is the 1,000-year old Edinburgh Castle, standing on a vast chunk of 350-million year old volcanic rock! ❤️
