Home from 24 hours away to the great site of builders putting out joined houses back to two properties. Not long for the work to be done and then we’ll be selling a house. So if you or someone you know is interested in being our neighbour then love to hear from you. It’s a 3 bedroom property

A fruitful 4 hours on Friday afternoon talking to residents about their Pride in Place. Create some bumping spaces and people soon want to come to talk to you about what’s most important to them and their community.

What a fantastic time facilitating the Economic Justice Brum network. Exciting times as we develop lines of inquiry and participatory ways to resource action learning

What a brilliant evening helping host Listening Post - Darlington AGM. Really moving to hear the stories of trained active listeners giving time to young people who just need someone to give them the gift of time

Great 72km ride with @gearupcc. One of the best things about cycling is camaraderie so really grateful that the crew fixed my tyre and just took the gas off when it was a bit quick for me

Birmingham traffic meant missed first train to Darlington so did bit of work whilst waiting. Looking forward to spending time with DACYM/Listening Post the charity I chair. Board meeting and AGM in a quick overnight stay

Really interesting hearing Gordon Brown talk about his new book. Struck by phrase that he used that we need to not just think about economic recession but also civic recession. The loss of those places, spaces, connections that build togetherness and that has implications locally but globally

Great to be at the Unity Hubb for a good chunk of my day. Always humbled by having been involved in this community building organisation starting with a new vision for a consecrated church in the midst of a multi cultural community.

What did we make of the speech, the direction he’s taking our country in and the policies he’s announced?

What a Friday night! Music, food, community, the brilliant inspiring Ebony launching her book and we at Red Letter Christians UK launched our Jesus and Justice book/app in Birmingham

Really good first Board meeting of the year and pleased to take on some governance responsibilities around inclusion. Most important is being part of a values and mission driving alternative provision trust that focuses on what makes a difference to vulnerable young people’s lives
