Fuck me if I'm not depressed lately. My dad just came out of the hospital, my girlfriend and I broke up after 11 years, and my mothers in a nursing home and my dogs paw is injured. At least I got my health!

As long as this platform remains (somewhat) relevant I'd like to say to anyone considering doing Kratom to be very careful, bc it's extremely fucking addictive and possibly the single hardest drug to quit bc it takes SO LONG to get over. The pain, insomnia and anxiety last FOREVER when u try to quit

Today was Day 1 of what I hope is a period of improving my guitar playing significantly. Starting with the difficult task of learning Johnny Ramone's downstroke method on the first two Ramones records. Gonna take a little bit to get the strength to master that! Then onto some English blues I think.

The hard lesson I learned this Christmas is not to order from any company that uses 3rd party delivery services like 17track or p2p - BOTH cannot find my house simply because it's in a slightly rural location. USPS and Amazon never have a problem. TeePublic and Shawn Craft both use them so BEWARE!

It's the coolest stuff I've heard in a while... You can get a full band signed CD from Barrett's website for 25 bucks. I'm waiting on mine atm

I think 2006-2009 was the last golden period of indie music releases. I've been rediscovering much great stuff from then, and I know for a fact there was a great scene in Austin then, cause I was in it with the mostly unknown band School Police (on BC). Peter and the Wolf and Bill Baird come to mind

The punk band Angelface are the greatest. They are an offshoot from the incredible Japanese 90s punk band Teengenerate, and every bit as good imo. Fink, the lead songwriter is a genius imo. I have all of their stuff on vinyl but I'm still prob not cool enough to work at Breakaway Records.

For posterity's sake I just wanna note that my entire home studio, and everything in it, were swept away in the July 4th flood of 2025. And it sucks majorly. But the house survived and no one died. My American made fender strat was found and is being repaired... Everything else so far is GONE. SUCKS

@kxan.com Travis County continues to not be available for FEMA disaster relief. Sandy Creek is within Travis Co and was devastated. On top of that we don't have a cell phone tower, which means after the power went out we were unable to even receive any warnings anyway. This should be a bigger story
