NP finally prescribed pain meds last week but is "uncomfortable" so she referred me to Pain Management. (I don't know what the actual source of the discomfort is. I've never abused prescription or street drugs. I've taken the minimum dose as she prescribed.)

My bp was 190/90 when I went into the er per my pcp's direction. That wasn't even noticed, nor was the instruction from my doctor to treat my pain. I was treated like an addict even though she had access to 3 separate tests proving that I have a bone sitting on top of a nerve.

We've had enough and will be moving to Slovenia within a year. After shouting at the top of our lungs for our entire lives to deaf ears, we are giving up on the US. My grandparents fled the region to escape fascism and war. Things have now come full circle, hopefully leading to new opportunities.

Today was tough. One of my partners has been sick for a week, fortunately not Covid, but some nasty flu. So now my other partner and I are both ill. And then I had the hardest tutoring session of my life. My Jr. High aged student is studying the holocaust. I could barely keep it together. Tears 😢
