2007 than I have since. By quite a bit. Maybe because my 2 biggest contracts went adios in 2008/9 where I was working up to 64 hrs./week. If I had been you probably would have had to pay less & have had the Bolt covered & the countries debt wouldn't be anywhere close.

loads of debt already. We had 1/2 the unemployment rate back in the 1960s. You could afford more if you had to pay less EI premiums & there were several hundred thousand more people paying taxes & into CPP.

being advanced. But you also need the infrastructure. First, you need the power. The federal government just moved the James Bay hydro expansion forward. There's new nuclear projects in Ontario already in process. If you can do the EV thing now, great. But sending $ to China has gotten us into...

EVs are more expensive to produce, just based on components, unless you get them built by cheap labor...like in China. You can make that up over time by not having to buy gas. If China builds them here they aren't necessarily going to be any cheaper. We have a number of critical mineral projects..

Not at all. But we need to get our EV industry going. An EV used in China takes a gasoline powered vehicle off the road there. The planet doesn't care where it is. Develop our industry and we can get more total EVs on the road everywhere. And we'll also have some jobs here to buy them, no job
