How much more decorative that tile is than the Victorian tile I donated to the museum with the pre-firing graffito on it.

Deceptively simple: Stonehenge as blocks on the real contoured surface — orbit on your phone, tap for coords, sun & moon for today or c. 2500 BC. A lot of work so it feels easy. timdaw37.github.io/stonehenge-b...

Also worth looking at the catalogue number, DZSWS:1985.7880 is labelled Calne, DZSWS:1985.7883 (B photo) is labelled Mildenhall - but DZSWS:1985.7883 shows a river, the Avon?

Simply described as: "aerial view of barrows north of Stonehenge, Amesbury, Wiltshire" I think there may be more going on, can't quite place it though. @wiltshiremuseum.bsky.social DZSWS:1985.7881

The Heel Stone and Stonehole 97 The published plans show it is one end of a wider arrangement of stone and timber settings that have received far less attention. The evidence was largely recorded by Hawley in 1923 — it has simply not been brought together. www.sarsen.org/2026/08/rows...
